Background
Yord studied law at Utrecht University. Before joining Poelman c.s. and being sworn in as a member of the Netherlands Bar, he worked at law firms in Amsterdam and Breda. He also taught introductory law courses at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and completed internships at law firms in Curaçao and Amsterdam.
Additional positions and memberships
Since November 2020, Yord has served as Vice-Chair of the Complaints Committee of the VMBN, the Association of Mindfulness Based Trainers in the Netherlands and Flanders.
